About the Cars For Cancer Lottery

The Mater Cars for Cancer Lottery was launched in October 2004, as an initiative of the Mater Foundation to raise vital funds for Cancer research and treatment.

This is a limited lottery with only 15, 000 tickets available for each of the six Cars for Cancer lotteries per year. The main prize is winner's choice of either a Ford Performance Vehicles (FPV) or a Holden Special Vehicles (HSV).

The funds raised through the lottery assist the Mater Medical Research Institute (MMRI), the Mater Prostate Cancer Research Centre, Multiple Myeloma, Breast Cancer and the Queensland Cord Blood Bank.
